ETNA
About 60 km north of Syracuse stands the highest active volcano in Europe that with the majesty of its 3,357 m a.s.l. dominates the entire east coast of Sicily. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013, rich territory from a naturalistic, geological and landscape point of view, on Etna you can take incredible walks to the summit crater and within the thick woods of its park. In winter you can also ski continuing to admire the blue of the Ionian Sea.
